Position: Screen Printing Technician

Location: Nzérékoré, Guinea

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Screen Printing Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Screen Printing Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining screen printing equipment to produce high-quality prints for various products. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and a passion for producing visually appealing products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate screen printing equipment, including screens, squeegees, and ink, to produce high-quality prints
• Prepare artwork and screens for printing by using software and exposure techniques
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with equipment or prints to ensure quality standards are met
• Mix and match ink colors to achieve desired colors and shades
• Monitor and adjust printing parameters such as speed, temperature, and pressure to achieve optimal results
• Inspect finished prints for accuracy, quality, and consistency
• Maintain inventory of screens, inks, and other supplies needed for screen printing
• Keep work area clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
• Train and mentor new team members on screen printing techniques and processes

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in screen printing
• Strong understanding of screen printing techniques, equipment, and processes
• Proficient in using software for preparing artwork and screens
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends if needed
