Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a BookCraft Store Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, managing a team of employees, and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of store employees, including hiring, training, and performance management
• Create and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment for all team members
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure products are stocked and displayed in an attractive and organized manner
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product inquiries, recommendations, and purchases
• Manage cash handling procedures and ensure accurate and timely completion of financial transactions
• Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner
• Conduct regular store audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitors' activities
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote store events and promotions
• Prepare and submit reports on store performance, sales, and employee productivity to upper management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 experience in a retail management role
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Experience with inventory management and visual merchandising
• Proficient in MS Office and POS systems
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Passion for books, stationery, and art supplies is an asset
