Position: Data Visualization Manager

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Visualization Manager to join our growing team. As a Data Visualization Manager, you will be responsible for creating and managing visually impactful data visualizations that effectively communicate complex data insights to both internal and external stakeholders. You will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision making within the organization by developing and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and data requirements
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using various visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and QlikView
• Translate complex data sets into visually appealing and easy-to-understand visualizations
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency in all visualizations
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data visualization techniques
• Train and mentor team members on data visualization best practices and tools
• Work closely with data analysts and data engineers to ensure data availability and quality for visualization purposes
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure effective communication and understanding of data visualizations
• Conduct regular audits and reviews of existing visualizations to identify areas for improvement and make necessary updates
• Develop and maintain documentation for data visualization processes and standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data visualization, preferably in a managerial role
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and QlikView
• Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and principles
• Experience in data analysis and working with large and complex data sets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of SQL and other programming languages is a plus
• Passion for data and the ability to tell stories through visualization
