Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and organized Steel Production Supervisor to join our team. As a Steel Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring the timely and efficient production of high-quality steel products. You will work closely with the production team to ensure all production targets are met while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and production targets
• Supervise and lead the production team, including hiring, training, and conducting performance evaluations
• Monitor and analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Ensure all safety procedures and regulations are followed by the production team
• Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and maintenance, to maintain the highest level of product quality
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure smooth production flow
• Address any production issues or delays in a timely and effective manner
• Conduct regular meetings with the production team to communicate production goals and provide feedback on performance
• Create and maintain production reports to track productivity and identify areas for improvement
• Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles to streamline production processes
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements to continuously improve production processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in steel production, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment, and safety procedures
• Proven track record of successfully meeting production targets and implementing process improvements
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Proficient in MS Office and production software
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays if required
