Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician to join our team. The NOC Technician will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting our network infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering top-notch services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor network systems and respond to alerts and alarms in a timely manner
• Handle all network-related issues and troubleshoot any network outages
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
• Document all network-related activities, such as tickets, outages, and maintenance tasks
• Perform regular maintenance and updates on network equipment
• Collaborate with other teams to resolve complex network issues
• Provide technical support to clients and assist with their network-related inquiries
• Perform network upgrades and installations as needed
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and maintain network security
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency situations as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or similar role
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies
• Experience with configuring and troubleshooting network devices, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
• Knowledge of network monitoring tools, such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or PRTG
• Familiarity with network security protocols and best practices
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotation
• Industry certifications, such as CCNA or Network+
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
