Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Credit Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial principles, and exceptional attention to detail. As a Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting thorough credit analysis and providing recommendations to support our company's credit decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the creditworthiness of individuals and businesses
• Evaluate credit risks and make recommendations on credit limits and terms
• Conduct industry and market research to assess potential risks and opportunities
• Utilize financial models and tools to forecast credit trends and make informed decisions
• Review loan applications and credit reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Communicate credit decisions and recommendations to management and other relevant stakeholders
• Monitor and track customer payment histories and trends to identify potential issues and risks
• Collaborate with sales and collections teams to develop strategies for managing credit risk and minimizing losses
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to credit analysis and make recommendations for process improvements
• Provide support to other departments and team members as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in credit analysis or a relevant finance role
• Strong understanding of financial principles and credit analysis techniques
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of credit laws and regulations is a plus
