Job Title: Print Quality Control Inspector

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Print Quality Control Inspector to join our team. As a Print Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of all printed materials, including but not limited to labels, packaging, and promotional materials. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of printing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect all printed materials to ensure they meet quality and accuracy standards
• Verify artwork, color, print registration, and any special effects are accurate and consistent
• Identify and document any defects or errors and communicate them to the appropriate department for correction
• Use various tools and equipment, such as color measurement devices and magnifiers, to perform quality checks
• Follow established procedures and guidelines to maintain consistency and uniformity in print quality
• Communicate with production teams to address any quality concerns and implement corrective actions
• Maintain accurate records of inspection results and provide reports as requested
• Keep up-to-date with new printing techniques and technologies to continuously improve quality control processes
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve any quality issues and ensure timely delivery of printed materials
• Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations while performing quality control inspections

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or training in printing processes is a plus
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in print quality control or a related field
• Strong knowledge of printing techniques, including offset, digital, and flexographic printing
• Proficient in using color measurement devices and other quality control tools
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors and defects
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other graphic design software is a plus
• Familiarity with ISO quality standards is preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
