Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Laundry Caregiver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing personalized laundry care services to individuals who require assistance with their daily laundry needs. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and has a passion for helping others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and sort laundry from the individual's residence on a regular basis.
• Follow specific instructions for washing, drying, and folding clothes according to the individual's preferences.
• Handle delicate and special care items with caution and care.
• Ensure that all laundry is returned to the individual in a neat and organized manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area.
• Report any issues or concerns with laundry equipment to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow safety protocols when handling and using laundry equipment.
• Communicate effectively with the individual and their family members to ensure their laundry needs are being met.
• Keep track of laundry inventory and inform the individual or their family members when supplies need to be replenished.
• Adhere to the individual's specific laundry care instructions and preferences.
• Respect the individual's privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in laundry care or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to follow specific instructions and preferences.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle and operate laundry equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect individual's privacy.
• Physical ability to lift and carry laundry items.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Working Conditions: This position requires you to work in the individual's residence, therefore, you must be comfortable working in a home environment. You may also be required to work weekends and evenings, depending on the individual's laundry needs. The work can be physically demanding, requiring you to lift and carry laundry items.
