If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!As a Student Success Advisor at Sakura Everest Tech University, you will play a crucial role in supporting and guiding our students towards academic and personal success. You will serve as a mentor, advisor, and advocate for our students, helping them navigate their academic journey and reach their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide proactive academic advising to a caseload of students, including creating personalized academic plans and monitoring progress towards degree completion
• Serve as the primary point of contact for students, responding to inquiries and providing guidance on academic policies, procedures, and resources
• Conduct regular check-ins with students to assess their academic progress, address any challenges, and offer support and resources as needed
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement academic support programs and initiatives that promote student success
• Utilize data and analytics to track student success, identify trends, and make data-informed decisions to improve student outcomes
• Serve as a liaison between students and various departments, advocating for student needs and ensuring a seamless academic experience
• Develop and facilitate workshops and presentations on topics such as time management, study skills, and goal setting to promote student success
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in academic advising and student success to continuously improve our services

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in counseling, education, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 3+ years of experience in academic advising or student support services, preferably in a higher education setting
• Strong knowledge of academic policies, procedures, and resources
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in data analysis and utilizing technology to track and monitor student progress
• Passion for working with students and helping them achieve their academic and personal goals
