Job Title: GCP Network Engineer

Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GCP Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a GCP Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) network infrastructure. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure our network meets the high-performance and scalability requirements of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement GCP network architecture, including VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, and load balancers, to support our business needs.
• Manage and maintain GCP network resources such as Cloud Routers, VPNs, and Interconnects.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Collaborate with our DevOps team to automate network infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools such as Terraform.
• Work with security teams to implement and maintain network security policies, including intrusion detection and prevention systems.
• Keep abreast of the latest GCP networking technologies and make recommendations for network improvements to optimize performance and reduce costs.
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical network issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 2 years of experience in designing and implementing GCP network infrastructure.
• In-depth knowledge of GCP networking services, including VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, and load balancers.
• Experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Strong understanding of network security concepts and best practices.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• GCP certifications, such as Professional Cloud Network Engineer, are a plus.
