Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Luxury Goods & Jewelry Buyer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for luxury goods and jewelry, extensive knowledge of the industry, and a proven track record of successful buying. As a key member of our buying team, you will play a vital role in shaping our product offerings and driving sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with luxury goods and jewelry brands to ensure a wide selection of high-quality products
• Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences
• Identify new and emerging brands to add to our product portfolio
• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best pricing and terms
• Manage inventory levels and make purchasing decisions based on sales data and market demand
• Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotions and events
• Monitor and analyze sales performance and make recommendations for improvement
• Provide training and support to sales associates on product knowledge and selling techniques
• Attend trade shows and industry events to network and source new products
• Travel to supplier locations to build and maintain relationships and negotiate contracts

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in luxury goods and jewelry buying
• Proven track record of successful buying and negotiating with luxury brands
• In-depth knowledge of luxury goods and jewelry market trends, competitors, and customer preferences
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software
