Job Title: Editor-in-Chief

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Editor-in-Chief to join our team. As the Editor-in-Chief, you will be responsible for overseeing the editorial direction and content of our publication. You will work closely with writers, editors, and other team members to ensure that our publication maintains its high standards and continues to produce engaging and relevant content for our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the editorial strategy and vision for our publication.
• Collaborate with writers, editors, and other team members to generate ideas and create high-quality content.
• Ensure that all content is accurate, well-written, and aligned with our publication's standards and voice.
• Manage and mentor a team of writers and editors, providing guidance and feedback to help them grow and improve.
• Oversee the production process, from assigning articles to finalizing layouts and designs.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure that our publication remains relevant and competitive.
• Build and maintain relationships with contributors, industry experts, and other partners to expand our network and content offerings.
• Monitor and analyze key metrics, such as readership and engagement, to inform editorial decision-making and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior editorial role, preferably as an Editor-in-Chief or Managing Editor.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Proven experience managing and leading a team.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of digital publishing and content management systems.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and social media platforms.
