Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop game levels that align with the game's vision and overall design
• Collaborate with the game design team to ensure levels are in line with the game's story, mechanics, and difficulty curve
• Use industry-standard tools to create and implement level layouts, puzzles, and challenges
• Work closely with the art team to ensure levels have a cohesive and visually appealing aesthetic
• Collaborate with the programming team to ensure levels are functional, bug-free, and optimized for performance
• Conduct playtesting and iterate on levels based on player feedback
• Keep up to date with current gaming trends and techniques to continuously improve level design processes and techniques
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of game levels

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Level Designer in the gaming industry
• Strong understanding of game design principles, level design techniques, and game development processes
• Proficiency in industry-standard game engines and level design tools (e.g. Unreal Engine, Unity, Hammer)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Passion for gaming and a keen eye for detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Ability to receive and implement feedback from team members and playtesting results
