Job Title: Ceramic Tile Installer

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ceramic Tile Installer to join our team. As a Ceramic Tile Installer, you will be responsible for installing and repairing ceramic tile and other types of tile, including porcelain, marble, granite, and mosaic. You will work on both residential and commercial projects, ensuring that all installations are completed to the highest standards and meet the specific needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled and plan the layout of tiles.
• Cut, shape, and polish tiles to fit around obstacles and into corners.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and repairing them as needed.
• Mix and apply adhesives, grout, and sealants to secure tiles in place.
• Install tile underlayments and waterproof membranes.
• Lay and set tiles in evenly spaced and aligned rows.
• Use tools such as levels, chalk lines, and cutting tools to ensure accurate installation.
• Smooth and polish surfaces using hand and power tools.
• Inspect and repair damaged or cracked tiles.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Ceramic Tile Installer.
• Excellent knowledge of various types of tile and their properties.
• Strong understanding of tile installation techniques and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Proficient in using tile cutting tools and other relevant equipment.
• Attention to detail and precision in work.
• Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to different job sites.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
