About the Role: PowerGen Electric Corp is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Electrical Power Technician to join our team. As the Electrical Power Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical power systems and equipment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical power systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical power system issues.
• Repair or replace faulty components, such as wires, switches, and circuit breakers.
• Install new electrical power systems and equipment as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
• Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects and tasks.
• Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and new technologies.
• Provide training and guidance to junior technicians.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrical Power Technician.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical power systems and equipment.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
• Good physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
