Job Title: Data Protection Analyst

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Protection Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data protection and security, as well as a thorough understanding of relevant laws and regulations. As a Data Protection Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our company's data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data protection policies and procedures in compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Conduct risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities in our data protection systems
• Monitor and analyze data protection incidents, and provide recommendations for remediation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data protection controls and processes
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with data protection policies and procedures
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data protection, and make recommendations for improvement
• Serve as a subject matter expert for all data protection related matters

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data protection or information security
• Strong knowledge of data protection laws and regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA
• Experience with risk assessments, incident management, and data protection audits
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry certifications in data protection, such as CIPP or CIPM
• Experience with data protection tools and technologies, such as data loss prevention (DLP) and encryption
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 and other relevant information security standards
• Familiarity with cloud computing and data protection in the cloud
