Job Title: Public Policy Analyst

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Public Policy Analyst to join our team. As a Public Policy Analyst, you will play a crucial role in researching, analyzing, and evaluating public policies and their impact on our organization and the community. You will be responsible for providing insightful recommendations and shaping our company's stance on various social, economic, and political issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough research and analysis of public policies and their potential impact on our organization's operations, goals, and objectives.
• Monitor and track legislative and regulatory developments at the local, state, and federal levels.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with government officials, policymakers, and key stakeholders to stay informed about the latest policy changes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand their needs and priorities and provide guidance on how to navigate policy changes.
• Identify potential risks and opportunities for our organization and propose strategic solutions to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
• Prepare reports, white papers, and presentations to communicate complex policy issues and recommendations to various stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in public policy analysis to continuously improve our approach.
• Represent our organization at public hearings, forums, and conferences to advocate for our policy positions.
• Partner with external organizations and coalitions to advance our policy goals and initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience (at least 3-5 years) in public policy analysis, preferably in a corporate or government setting.
• In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal government structures, policies, and procedures.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with project management principles and tools.
