Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Freight Transport Driver to join our growing team. As a Freight Transport Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate for this role must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and excellent time management skills. Key Responsibilities:

• Operate company vehicles, including trucks and trailers, to transport goods and materials to designated locations
• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly before departure
• Plan and map out the most efficient routes to minimize delivery time and costs
• Adhere to traffic laws and maintain a safe driving distance from other vehicles
• Conduct pre and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
• Report any vehicle malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate department
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs
• Communicate with dispatchers and customers to provide updates on delivery status
• Handle paperwork, such as bills of lading and delivery receipts, for each shipment
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times
• Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Class A or B commercial driver's license
• Clean driving record with no traffic violations
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Freight Transport Driver
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety protocols
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if needed
