Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all legal services within the organization, including contract negotiations, legal document review, and compliance matters.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
Advise senior management on legal issues and provide strategic guidance to support business objectives.
Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and regulations.
Manage and develop a team of legal professionals, providing training and mentoring as needed.
Collaborate with external legal counsel on complex legal matters and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Represent the organization in legal proceedings, including litigation and arbitration.
Review and negotiate contracts and agreements to protect the organization's interests.
Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
Monitor and manage legal expenses to ensure cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field; Juris Doctor (J.D.) preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in a legal role, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory position.
Strong knowledge of laws and regulations related to the organization's industry.
Proven track record of providing strategic legal advice to senior management.

Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
