Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies for the effective management of our fleet, including maintenance schedules, vehicle replacements, and cost control measures.
Oversee daily operations of the fleet, including coordinating with drivers, scheduling vehicle maintenance and repairs, and managing fuel usage.
Monitor and analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure all vehicles are in compliance with state and federal regulations, including safety inspections, registration, and insurance.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance and repairs.
Manage and track inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment.
Oversee the hiring, training, and performance evaluation of fleet staff.
Create and maintain a budget for fleet operations, including forecasting and cost analysis.
Ensure all fleet policies and procedures are adhered to by all staff and drivers.
Stay updated on industry trends and developments, and implement new technologies and practices to improve fleet efficiency.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet management, preferably in a large organization.
Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair, and logistics.
Proven track record of successfully managing a large fleet of vehicles.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to analyze data and make sound decisions based on data.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and fleet management software.
