Job Title: Armed Security Guard

Job Summary: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and trained Armed Security Guard to join our team. As an Armed Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their property. You will be required to carry a firearm and use it when necessary to protect against potential threats. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in law enforcement or the military and possess excellent physical and mental capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to prevent unauthorized access to the premises
• Conduct routine patrols of the facility, ensuring all areas are secure
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
• Maintain a visible presence to deter illegal and inappropriate actions
• Utilize CCTV cameras and other security equipment to monitor the premises
• Take necessary action in the event of an emergency, such as evacuating the premises or calling for backup
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by addressing their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Complete detailed reports on any incidents or suspicious activities
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
• Keep accurate records of weapons and ammunition inventory
• Attend training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to security procedures and protocols

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in law enforcement, military, or security preferred
• Valid armed security guard license and firearms permit
• Ability to handle and use firearms in a safe and responsible manner
• Strong observation and surveillance skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-stress situations
• Physical fitness and stamina to stand and walk for extended periods
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Clean criminal record and drug-free
• Must pass a background check and psychological evaluation

Working Conditions: As an Armed Security Guard, you will be required to work in various environments, including indoors and outdoors, and in all weather conditions. You will also be required to stand and walk for extended periods and may need to lift heavy objects. This position may also involve working in high-risk areas, requiring the use of protective gear such as bulletproof vests.
