Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of database administrators, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure the team's overall success.
Develop and implement database strategies and procedures to ensure the security, integrity, and availability of company data.
Design and maintain the company's databases, including data structures, data models, and data integration processes.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve database performance issues to ensure optimal database performance.
Collaborate with other teams, such as software development and IT, to identify and implement database solutions that support business needs.
Conduct regular database audits to identify and address any data quality or compliance issues.
Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends, and implement best practices for database management.
Train and mentor team members on database technologies and processes to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in database administration, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of database management systems, such as MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.
Experience with database design, data modeling, and data integration.
In-depth understanding of database security, backup, and recovery processes.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
