Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement cloud architecture on GCP to support various applications and services.
Collaborate with development teams to define cloud deployment strategies and best practices.
Evaluate and recommend appropriate GCP services and tools to meet business requirements.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager.
Ensure the security, availability, and performance of the cloud environment.
Manage and monitor cloud resources to optimize costs and performance.
Create and maintain technical documentation for the cloud infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to the cloud environment.
Stay updated with the latest GCP services, features, and best practices.
Mentor and train other team members on GCP cloud technologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on GCP.
In-depth knowledge of GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, etc.
Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Deployment Manager, or CloudFormation.
Strong understanding of networking concepts and experience with VPCs, firewalls, load balancers, etc.
Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Stackdriver, Prometheus, or ELK stack.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
GCP certifications such as Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer are a plus.
