Position: Courier Associate

Job Description: As a Courier Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of packages and documents. You will be responsible for handling a large volume of deliveries and managing deliveries in a fast-paced environment. Your main goal will be to provide exceptional service to our clients by delivering their packages on time and with care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick up and deliver packages and documents to designated locations within the given time frame
• Plan and organize the most efficient route for deliveries to ensure timely delivery
• Communicate with clients and provide status updates on the delivery process
• Handle and process packages with care to prevent damage or loss
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and obtain client signatures for proof of delivery
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws while driving to ensure the safety of yourself and others
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and in good working condition
• Report any issues or delays to the appropriate supervisor
• Assist with loading and unloading packages as needed
• Provide excellent customer service and address any client concerns or questions

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Previous experience in a courier or delivery role is preferred
• Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs
• Familiarity with GPS and route planning software
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends, if needed

Working Conditions:

• This is a physically demanding job that requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods
• Work may be performed in varying weather conditions
• May be required to work overtime or on weekends, depending on business needs
