Giving Philanthropy is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Philanthropy Director to join our team. As a Philanthropy Director, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our organization's fundraising strategies to support our mission and goals. We are looking for a strategic thinker with a passion for philanthropy and a proven track record of success in fundraising.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan to support the organization's mission and goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations.
• Identify and cultivate new potential donors through research and outreach efforts.
• Develop and manage a major gifts program, including soliciting and stewarding major donors.
• Plan and execute fundraising events, including donor appreciation events and fundraising galas.
• Create and manage a donor recognition program to acknowledge and thank donors for their contributions.
• Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop fundraising materials and campaigns.
• Manage a team of fundraising staff and volunteers, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
• Monitor and report on fundraising progress, including analyzing data and making recommendations for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date on fundraising trends and best practices to continuously improve our fundraising efforts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in fundraising, with a proven track record of success.
• Experience in developing and implementing fundraising strategies.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in using fundraising software and databases.
• Passion for philanthropy and making a positive impact in the community.
