- Master Degree
- Prepare and cook food items in accordance with recipes and quality standards
- Set up stations and collect necessary supplies to prepare menu items
- Assist with the development of new menu items and specials
- Ensure all food items are stored properly and rotated to maintain freshness
- Monitor food inventory levels and notify management of any shortages
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper sanitation of all equipment and work areas
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient service
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures while handling food and equipment
- Uphold company policies and procedures, including portion control and food waste management
- Communicate any customer requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen team
- Work efficiently and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Perform additional tasks as requested by the Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods
- Ability to follow recipes and food safety guidelines
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and appliances
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree or certification is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in a hot, noisy and fast-paced environment
- Must be able to bend, kneel, and reach frequently throughout the shift
