Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement curriculum plans and instructional activities in accordance with state and national standards.
Utilize a variety of teaching techniques and resources to engage students and enhance their learning experience.
Create and maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and academic excellence.
Evaluate student progress and provide timely and constructive feedback to students and their parents or guardians.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to discuss student progress, concerns, and achievements.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate science concepts into cross-curricular activities and projects.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with advancements in science education.
Engage in continuous assessment of the effectiveness of instructional techniques and make necessary adjustments to improve student learning outcomes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Science Education or a related field.
Valid teaching certification in the subject area.
Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching science at the middle or high school level.
Strong knowledge of subject matter and ability to effectively convey complex concepts to students.
Passion for teaching and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment for students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and adapt to different teaching styles.
Proficient in using technology and various instructional strategies to enhance student learning.
