Job Title: Philanthropy Coordinator

Position Overview: As a Philanthropy Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the philanthropic efforts of our organization. You will work closely with the philanthropy team to develop and implement strategies to attract and retain donors, as well as oversee the distribution of funds to various charitable causes. This role requires a strong understanding of fundraising principles, excellent communication skills, and a passion for making a positive impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the philanthropy team to develop and implement fundraising strategies and campaigns.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations.
• Plan and execute fundraising events, including donor appreciation events, charity auctions, and galas.
• Manage donor databases and maintain accurate records of donor information and contributions.
• Prepare and present reports on fundraising progress and results to the philanthropy team and senior management.
• Develop and oversee the distribution of funds to various charitable causes in line with the organization's mission and values.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards in fundraising and philanthropic activities.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in philanthropy and fundraising, and make recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to create compelling messaging and materials to promote philanthropic efforts.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment and integration of philanthropic efforts with overall organizational goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising or philanthropy.
• Proven track record of successful fundraising and donor management.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for philanthropy and making a positive impact in the community.
• Proficiency in donor database management and fundraising software.
• Knowledge of legal and ethical standards in fundraising and philanthropy.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends for events and donor meetings.
