Job Overview: As a Senior Program Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in the success of our organization by leading and managing the development of new programs and initiatives. You will work closely with the senior management team to identify opportunities for growth, design and implement new programs, and manage the overall development process from start to finish. Your expertise in program development, project management, and strategic planning will be essential in driving our organization forward and achieving our goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of new programs and initiatives, from conceptualization to implementation, in line with the organization's mission and strategic objectives
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify market needs and trends, and develop strategies for addressing them through new programs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine program requirements, timelines, and budget
• Develop detailed project plans, including milestones, deliverables, and resources needed
• Oversee and manage the execution of program development, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and within budget
• Monitor and report on the progress of program development, identifying any issues or roadblocks and taking corrective actions as needed
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, donors, and community members, to ensure the success of new programs
• Conduct regular evaluations and assessments of new programs to measure their impact and effectiveness, and make recommendations for improvements
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in program development and incorporate them into our strategies
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in program development, project management, or a similar role
• Proven track record of successfully developing and launching new programs or initiatives
• Strong understanding of program evaluation and impact measurement techniques
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and develop effective strategies to capitalize on them
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to different audiences
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
