Key Responsibilities:

Develop data-driven software solutions that meet business requirements and adhere to industry standards
Design, implement, and maintain databases and data warehouses to support data processing and analytics
Create and maintain ETL processes to extract data from various sources and load it into data repositories
Develop data models and data structures to support data analysis and reporting
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data needs and provide solutions for data processing and analysis
Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of data systems to ensure efficient and accurate data processing
Identify and troubleshoot data-related issues and provide timely resolutions
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data engineering and implement best practices in the development of data solutions
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of software development processes
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members to discuss project requirements and provide updates on progress
Document design specifications, data flows, and system architecture for future reference

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience (3+ years) as a Data Software Engineer or a similar role
Strong programming skills in languages such as SQL, Python, and Java
Experience with database management systems (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
In-depth knowledge of ETL processes and tools (e.g. Informatica, Talend, SSIS)
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and techniques
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools
