Job Title: Avionics Technician

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Avionics Technician to join our team. As an Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic systems and components in aircraft. You will work closely with other technicians and engineers to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of avionics systems and components in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards
• Conduct inspections and testing of avionics equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with specifications
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with avionics systems and components, using specialized tools and equipment
• Document all work performed, including repairs, inspections, and modifications, in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to develop and implement solutions for complex avionics issues
• Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and changes in avionics technology and regulations
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and standards at all times

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a certified avionics technician program preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an avionics technician, preferably in a commercial or military aviation setting
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and industry standards for avionics systems and components
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
• Experience with avionics testing and troubleshooting equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and protocols accurately
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces and at heights
