Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Route Planner. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain operations, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. As a Route Planner, you will be responsible for creating efficient and cost-effective routes for our delivery drivers to follow. You will work closely with our logistics team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain efficient delivery routes for our fleet of vehicles, taking into consideration factors such as traffic patterns, delivery schedules, and vehicle capacities.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods to customers.
• Utilize route planning software and other tools to optimize routes and reduce delivery times.
• Monitor and analyze route performance and make adjustments as needed to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Communicate with drivers and provide them with necessary route information, including any changes or updates.
• Manage and maintain accurate records of delivery routes, including mileage, time, and delivery details.
• Identify and resolve any potential roadblocks or issues that may affect delivery times or routes.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in traffic patterns to continuously improve route planning strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in route planning, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in route planning software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and laws.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
