Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the entire lumber production process, from raw material intake to finished product delivery.
Plan and schedule production activities, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity while maintaining quality standards.
Monitor and analyze production data, identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase output and reduce costs.
Manage and train production staff, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
Collaborate with other departments such as procurement, sales, and logistics to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
Develop and maintain partnerships with suppliers and vendors to ensure a consistent supply of raw materials.
Monitor and maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and schedule maintenance and repairs as needed.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Develop and implement strategies to improve production processes and increase profitability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role, preferably in the lumber industry.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Knowledge of production processes and equipment, as well as industry standards and regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and production management software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
