Position: Arms Technician
Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Arms Technician to join our team. As an Arms Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and calibration of all types of arms and ammunition. This is a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations, making it a great opportunity for someone with a passion for arms and precision engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on arms and ammunition according to established procedures and schedules
- Troubleshoot and diagnose any issues with arms and ammunition, and perform necessary repairs and adjustments
- Calibrate arms and ammunition to ensure accuracy and functionality
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work, including inventory and usage of parts and tools
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement improvements to arms and ammunition systems
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in arms technology to continuously improve our processes and equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in arms maintenance, engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Arms Technician or in a similar role
- Strong mechanical and technical skills, with a deep understanding of arms and ammunition systems
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to arms and ammunition
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Must be able to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
