Key Responsibilities:

Create realistic and expressive character animations for 2D and 3D projects
Collaborate with the art and design teams to ensure animations align with the overall vision of the project
Utilize traditional animation techniques, as well as motion capture and keyframe animation, to bring characters to life
Develop and maintain a library of reusable animation assets for future projects
Continuously improve animation processes and workflows to increase efficiency and quality
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in animation technology to incorporate into projects
Work closely with the rigging team to ensure characters are properly rigged for optimal animation
Communicate progress and any potential issues to the project lead and team members

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in animation, fine arts, or related field
Minimum of 3 years experience as a Character Animator in the gaming or film industry
Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of character animations and styles
Proficiency in industry-standard animation software such as Maya, 3ds Max, or Blender
Experience with motion capture and facial animation techniques
Excellent understanding of human and animal anatomy and movement
Strong understanding of animation principles and storytelling through movement
Ability to take direction and work collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
Passion for animation and a desire to continuously learn and improve skills
