Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough inspections of products at various stages of production to ensure they meet quality standards
Perform visual and functional tests on finished products to identify any defects or discrepancies
Use measuring tools and equipment to ensure products meet dimensional and functional requirements
Document and report any findings or defects to the appropriate department or supervisor
Monitor and maintain quality control records and documentation
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve any quality control issues
Conduct regular audits and spot checks to ensure compliance with quality standards
Provide feedback and suggestions for improvement to the production process to enhance overall quality
Train and mentor new quality control team members as needed
Stay up-to-date on industry standards and regulations related to quality control
Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate efficient and accurate inspections

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment
Strong knowledge of quality control processes and procedures
Familiarity with measuring tools and equipment
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or discrepancies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
