Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement database compliance policies and procedures in accordance with industry regulations and best practices.
Regularly review and update existing compliance policies to ensure they are up-to-date and effective.
Monitor and audit databases to identify potential compliance issues and address them in a timely manner.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance requirements are met during the database development and implementation process.
Conduct regular training sessions for employees to raise awareness about database compliance and best practices.
Stay updated on new regulatory requirements and industry standards related to databases and make necessary adjustments to ensure compliance.
Prepare and submit compliance reports to relevant regulatory bodies as required.
Serve as the main point of contact for all database compliance related inquiries and audits.
Investigate and resolve any data privacy or security breaches in a timely and efficient manner.
Continuously monitor database performance and make recommendations for improvement to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in database management, compliance, or a related role.
In-depth knowledge of database security, integrity, and compliance standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
Excellent understanding of database architecture, data structures, and SQL.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Exceptional communication skills and ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Prior experience in developing and implementing database compliance policies and procedures is preferred.
