Position: Wireless Network Engineer

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Wireless Network Engineer to join our team and be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's wireless network infrastructure. As a Wireless Network Engineer, you will work closely with our network engineering team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our wireless networks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of wireless technology and protocols, as well as experience with network design and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain wireless network infrastructure, including access points, controllers, and other necessary equipment.
• Configure and optimize wireless network settings to ensure maximum performance and reliability.
• Conduct site surveys to determine the best placement of wireless access points and antennas.
• Perform network capacity planning and make recommendations for network upgrades.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to wireless network performance, connectivity, or security.
• Monitor and analyze network traffic and usage to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with network engineering team to integrate wireless networks with the overall network infrastructure.
• Stay updated on the latest wireless technology trends and make recommendations for network enhancements.
• Develop and maintain documentation for wireless network architecture, configurations, and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in wireless network engineering.
• Strong understanding of wireless protocols such as 802.11a/b/g/n/ac.
• Experience with wireless network design and implementation in a large-scale environment.
• In-depth knowledge of network security and encryption protocols such as WPA2 and AES.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and analysis tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Certifications such as CCNA Wireless, CWNA, or CWDP are a plus.
