Position: Student Success Coach

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Student Success Coach to join our team and support our students in achieving academic and personal success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and a genuine desire to help students overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one coaching and support to students in achieving academic goals
• Create personalized success plans for students, taking into consideration their individual strengths and needs
• Monitor student progress and identify any potential obstacles or barriers to success
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure students receive the necessary support and resources
• Develop and implement workshops and programs focused on study skills, time management, and other key success strategies
• Serve as a liaison between students and other campus resources, such as tutoring and counseling services
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate updates to relevant parties
• Conduct regular check-ins with students to assess their progress and provide ongoing support and guidance
• Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in student success coaching and incorporate new strategies into coaching sessions
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance coaching skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a coaching or advising role, preferably in a higher education setting
• Strong understanding of student development and the challenges students face in achieving academic success
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build rapport and establish trust with students from diverse backgrounds
• Knowledge of various coaching techniques and strategies
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and student information systems
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Passion for helping students reach their full potential and thrive academically and personally
