Job Title: Digital Resources Librarian

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Resources Librarian to join our team. As the Digital Resources Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and providing access to our library's digital resources, including databases, e-books, and online journals. You will also oversee the development and implementation of digital initiatives and work closely with other library staff to ensure the smooth operation of our digital services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the library's digital resources, including databases, e-books, and online journals.
• Evaluate and select new digital resources to enhance the library's collection and meet the needs of our patrons.
• Collaborate with library staff to develop and implement digital initiatives, such as virtual reference services and online tutorials.
• Create and maintain user-friendly interfaces for accessing digital resources.
• Train and assist library staff and patrons in navigating and utilizing digital resources.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to digital resources.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in digital librarianship to continuously improve our digital services.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA-accredited program.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing digital resources in a library setting.
• Proven knowledge of library systems and digital technologies used in libraries.
• Strong understanding of metadata standards and cataloging principles.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Passion for providing excellent customer service to library users.
