Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop semiconductor devices, including but not limited to diodes, transistors, and integrated circuits.
• Conduct in-depth research and analysis to understand device performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Utilize CAD tools to design and simulate semiconductor devices, optimizing for performance, power consumption, and cost.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new device architectures and technologies.
• Develop test plans and conduct experiments to evaluate device performance and validate design improvements.
• Analyze data and provide recommendations for design enhancements.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in semiconductor technology and incorporate them into the design process.
• Work closely with process engineers to ensure seamless integration of device design with fabrication processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to device design, fabrication, and testing.
• Develop and maintain accurate documentation of device specifications, design procedures, and test results.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on semiconductor device design.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in semiconductor device design, preferably in a high-volume production environment.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor physics, device modeling, and simulation tools.
• Proficiency in CAD tools such as Cadence, Synopsys, or Mentor Graphics.
• Experience with statistical analysis and DOE techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Self-motivated with a strong drive for continuous learning and improvement.
