This individual will play a crucial role in the development and testing of our advanced weaponry and defense systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop innovative ammunition and weapon systems using advanced ballistics principles
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential ballistics improvements and enhancements
• Create detailed ballistics models and simulations to aid in the design and testing process
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including design engineers, test engineers, and project managers to ensure project success
• Develop and execute testing plans to validate the performance and effectiveness of new ballistics designs
• Analyze test data and provide recommendations for improvements and modifications
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in ballistics technology
• Collaborate with external partners and vendors to source necessary materials and components for ballistics projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in ballistics engineering
• Strong understanding of ballistics principles, theories, and calculations
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and ballistics modeling software
• Experience with ballistic testing and data analysis
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance (if required)
