Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Operations Supervisor to join our team. As the Agricultural Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all daily operations on our farms, ensuring maximum productivity and efficiency. You will lead a team of farm workers and oversee the cultivation, harvesting, and maintenance of our crops. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of farming techniques, strong leadership skills, and a passion for sustainable agriculture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of farm operations, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Lead a team of farm workers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a safe, productive, and positive work environment.
• Develop and implement farming strategies and techniques to maximize crop yields and maintain high-quality standards.
• Monitor and maintain farm equipment, ensuring proper use and maintenance to avoid any delays or disruptions in operations.
• Plan and coordinate the planting, harvesting, and irrigation schedules to ensure timely and efficient completion.
• Monitor and analyze crop yields, identifying any issues or concerns and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines, promoting a culture of safety among all team members.
• Maintain accurate records of all farming activities, including crop yields, expenses, and labor hours.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to develop and implement strategies for the distribution and sale of crops.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements, implementing new techniques and technologies to improve operations and increase productivity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role in agriculture operations.
• Proven experience in managing a team and leading successful farming operations.
• Strong knowledge of farming techniques, irrigation systems, and machinery.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer programs.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and guidelines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
