Key Responsibilities:

• Teach courses in the field of education at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including but not limited to topics such as curriculum development, instructional strategies, educational psychology, and educational technology.
• Design and develop course curriculum, materials, and assessments that align with the latest educational research and best practices.
• Mentor and advise students, providing guidance and support in their academic and professional development.
• Conduct research in the field of education, including publishing scholarly articles, books, and other materials.
• Serve on academic and administrative committees, contributing to the development and implementation of educational policies and programs.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the department and across disciplines to enhance the quality of education and promote interdisciplinary approaches.
• Engage in community outreach and partnerships to promote the importance of education and advocate for educational equity and access.
• Participate in professional development activities to stay current with the latest trends and advancements in the field of education.

Qualifications:

• A doctoral degree in education or a related field, with a strong academic record and a record of research and publications.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching and/or conducting research in the field of education.
• A deep understanding of educational theories, practices, and methodologies, with a commitment to staying current with the latest research and advancements in the field.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the development of educational policies and programs.
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to academic excellence, with a student-centered approach to education.
