Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day farm operations, including planting, harvesting, and maintenance of crops
Develop and implement operational procedures to streamline processes and increase productivity
Manage a team of farm workers, providing direction, training, and support as needed
Monitor and maintain inventory levels of equipment, tools, and supplies
Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations
Collaborate with the farm manager to create and maintain budgets and financial reports
Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
Conduct regular inspections and assessments of farm operations to identify areas for improvement
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, and make recommendations for implementing new techniques or technologies
Act as a liaison between farm workers, management, and other departments to facilitate effective communication and teamwork
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to farm operations, including inventory, yields, and expenses

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Farm Management, or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in farm operations and management
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software
Knowledge of agricultural practices and equipment
Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Knowledge of safety standards and regulations
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
