Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Railroad Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a Railroad Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and production of railroad equipment and components. You will work closely with our production team to ensure that our products meet industry standards and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures for the production of railroad equipment and components.
• Collaborate with design engineers to ensure that products are designed for efficient and cost-effective manufacturing.
• Conduct research and analyze data to identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes and implement solutions.
• Perform feasibility studies and cost analysis to determine the most effective manufacturing methods for new products.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of manufacturing processes, procedures, and production data.
• Monitor production processes and equipment to ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify and troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, production, and quality control to ensure timely and successful delivery of products.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technology to continuously improve processes and products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the railroad industry.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, such as welding, machining, and assembly.
• Proficient in CAD software and experience with 3D modeling.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations for railroad equipment manufacturing.
