Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and monitor the transportation and delivery of goods from suppliers to customers
Plan and schedule shipments, considering factors such as shipping time, cost, and mode of transport
Manage and track inventory levels to ensure timely replenishment and prevent stock shortages
Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customers to provide updates on shipment status and resolve any issues or delays
Prepare and maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and other logistics-related data
Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and make recommendations for process improvements
Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and addressing any concerns related to logistics
Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and sales, to coordinate logistics activities and ensure alignment with business goals
Train and supervise logistics team members, providing guidance and support as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
2-3 years of experience in logistics coordination or a similar role
Strong knowledge of transportation and logistics processes, including carrier selection, freight rates, and customs regulations
Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed
