Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine the scope and timeline of database migration projects
Analyze existing databases and identify any potential issues or areas for improvement
Develop and execute data migration plans, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime
Test and troubleshoot database migration processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Develop scripts and queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
Monitor and report on the progress of database migration projects to stakeholders
Provide technical support and training to end-users on new database platforms
Develop and maintain documentation of database migration processes and procedures
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in database management and migration techniques

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in database management and data migration
Strong knowledge of SQL and database scripting languages
Experience with database migration tools such as Oracle Data Integrator, SSIS, or Informatica
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and ability to maintain data integrity
Prior experience in project management is a plus
