Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fixed Income Trader to join our team at Invest Edge. As a Fixed Income Trader, you will be responsible for executing trades in the fixed income market on behalf of our clients. You will work closely with our portfolio managers and research analysts to identify investment opportunities and make informed trading decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute trades in the fixed income market, including government and corporate bonds, mortgage-backed securities, and other fixed income products.
- Monitor market trends and news to identify potential investment opportunities.
- Analyze financial data and economic indicators to make informed trading decisions.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers and research analysts to develop and implement trading strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with brokers, dealers, and other market participants.
- Monitor and manage portfolio risk exposure.
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and regulations related to fixed income trading.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Fixed Income Trader in a financial institution.
- Strong understanding of fixed income markets, products, and trading strategies.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Bloomberg, Excel, and other financial software.
- Series 7 and 63 licenses are preferred.
