About the Role: As a Data Replication Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data replication processes for our organization. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the accurate and timely replication of data across various systems and platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design efficient data replication solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data replication processes to ensure timely and accurate data replication across multiple systems and platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data replication.
• Design and implement efficient data replication solutions that meet business needs and ensure data integrity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data replication issues in a timely manner, working with internal teams and external vendors as needed.
• Monitor data replication processes and proactively identify and address any performance or reliability issues.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data replication processes, including technical specifications, code, and user guides.
• Develop and maintain data replication-related scripts and automation tools to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data replication and recommend new technologies and techniques to enhance our data replication processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data replication or a related field.
• Strong understanding of data replication concepts, methodologies, and tools.
• Proficient in SQL and scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Shell.
• Experience with data replication tools such as GoldenGate, Data Guard, or SharePlex.
• Familiarity with database management systems, such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
